ABOUT

   1681 was born and will continue to grow in the heart of Pennsylvania. This brand was inspired by the culture that raised us: hunting camps, opening day of trout, Friday night lights, over the top passion for our favorite in-state sports team, small college towns, and the admiration of Pittsburgh and Philadelphia.  1681 is a tribute to that Pennsylvania culture that varies from each corner of the state.  These pieces draw heavy influence from the 1990s and early 2000s, but are blended with a modern feel. 

   Founded by a kid who was born and raised in a small town in the center of Pennsylvania. Now, living in Pittsburgh with his wife and newborn son, 1681 brings him the chance to share his love for the Keystone State.  

   I think we can all agree that Pennsylvania is unique.  One minute we hate it here and the next minute we love it.  Some of us move on from the state and some of us never leave.  Regardless, this brand is here to showcase that love for Pennsylvania, no matter what story you have while living here.
